SALUTE TO LOVE // SNEAK PEEK / MARSHALL & MEGHAN

For my very last wedding of 2012, I had the immense honor of contributing to the Salute to Love give-away by capturing the beautiful wedding of Marshall & Meghan.

Marshall and Meghan share a story that many military couples share--a relationship to withstand the test of time and distance, and their love shone ever-so-brightly on their Big Day.

Here are just a few of my favorites from the wedding. There will be a much longer blog post in the near future, so stay tuned!

Marshall and Meghan,
All I can say is that my heart is filled with admiration for you two. I don't know how you do it, but I know that the love you share is an example of the strength of loving another person--fully and with all of your cards on the table. The trust that you two have for one another, the bond that only distance can create,
the seasons that seemed the most difficult and impossible... these are what God has used to mold your love. And I mean it when I say you are a shining light for all of us looking on. You are both so calm and assured in the other. And I pray that as time goes on, the strength and life-connection that you two share will only grow stronger and deeper. As you walk into a future of surrender, never knowing where the next orders might bring you to, I pray that you would find home in each other. I pray that warmth and familiarity would be found in the smiles and laughter you share, and that your love would be the walls of protection around your marriage, the foundation being the Lord, and the framing this beautiful day you two said "yes" to life-together. Marshall--thank you so much for your service to our country. It means more than words can express--it means our freedom. And, Meghan, thank you for kind heart... so evidently shown throughout this process. Thank you for supporting your husband and for being the strong woman that it takes to marry someone in the service. You are truly an example to wives across this country. Lastly, thank you both for allowing me to be a  part of this special day. I pray it went far beyond all you dreamed it would be.
