CHASING MIDNIGHT // NEW YEARS SESSION / TESS

Auld Lang Syne

Should old acquaintances be forgotten,
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintances be forgotten,
And days of long ago !

Chorus:
For old long ago, my dear
For old long ago,
We will take a cup of kindness yet
For old long ago.

We two have run about the hillsides
And pulled the daisies fine,
But we have wandered many a weary foot
For old long ago.

We two have paddled (waded) in the stream
From noon until dinner time,
But seas between us broad have roared
Since old long ago.

And there is a hand, my trusty friend,
And give us a hand of yours,
And we will take a goodwill draught (of ale)
For old long ago!

And surely you will pay for your pint,
And surely I will pay for mine!
And we will take a cup of kindness yet
For old long ago!

2011 has been one crazy year! I have so much reflecting going on--gratitude, lessons learned, new friends--this year was packed with experiences I will treasure for a lifetime.

It seems like yesterday, I was sitting at my computer dreaming of the possibilities that a year could bring. Here I am today, heart melted with the innumerable blessings the Lord sent my way.

This week I will set my sights high again, working with all my might to dream the best that I absolutely can. I'll be sure to share my dreams with you all!

To inspire you this New Years Eve, enjoy listening to this awesome song while browsing through this incredibly fun New Years session.

Cheers to 2012!

WEDDING // KRISTEN & RYAN / PREVIEW

Kristen and Ryan have got to be one of my most enjoyable couples of the year. From the second we started shooting their Engagement Session, I just knew that their Big Day would be full of laughter and love. They truly could not be more perfect for each other.

I am SO in love with the incredibly tasteful and simplistic feel of their wedding. Kristen was the most stunning bride--full of natural beauty. They didn't feel the need to act a certain way, but maintained an incredible demeanor of calmness, [goofiness!], and raw love for each other. It was a true delight to capture them.

Kristen and Ryan's wedding was held at the [fabulous!] Plantation Farms in Byron, GA.

Kristen and Ryan, I cannot thank you enough for the experience you have given me as a photographer from Day One. You two are such a joy to be around--and I know that doesn't just apply to me. I pray in this new season of life, miles away from home and experiencing full-fledged what it means to be set apart as one, that you still exude that same joy. Laugh whenever possible--even in the hard times. I am so grateful that God has crossed our paths. I believe in each of you--in your marriage, and in your ability to change the atmosphere around you. Blessings.
