MARRIED! // SAM & APRIL

Just a few of my favorites from Sam and April's Modern Milledgeville Wedding... aren't they just the sweetest couple you've ever seen!? I just love the brightness in their eyes... their love for each each other was so very easy to capture.

//

Sam and April,
I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of this special day! You were both so uncannily calm and your bridal party could not have been more enjoyable. I remember sitting at our first meeting at Blackbird Coffee, touched to the core by the story of how God has interwoven your stories--He is so undeniably present in your lives becoming one. After experiencing the dancing and laughter through your reception, I have full confidence that you two bring an aura of joy wherever you go... your love for one another is absolutely contagious. I pray your story serves as a testimony to all you encounter of the hope and peace found when you surrender your life to Christ (love life included!). Never let go of the Cornerstone that you've built your marriage upon. I believe in you. :)

Enjoy, friends.

BY THE RIVER // ENGAGEMENT SESSION / TRACY & AUSTIN

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this session.

Tracy and Austin are the kind of couple that exude happiness everywhere they go. From start to finish, my camera filled with big smiles and nose-to-nose laughter. I absolutely loved capturing the two of them.

As it goes when Autumn comes around, the sunlight peels from the sky swiftly and early. As we finished up the session on (in) the river, the sun was nearly out of the sky, creating a lovely blue twilight hue. In addition, because the light was so minimal, the grain (film-looking static caused by pushing your camera's light sensitivity to the max) was much more visible, and truly adds a romantic, nostalgic feel to these images.

I am IN. LOVE. with these images. There were so many to choose from, it was difficult to narrow it down to my favorites.

Here we are, though.

As always, my hope is that you utterly enjoy looking through these memories made.

//

Tracy and Austin (Jonathan!), I cannot thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to capture your journey in life together at this bliss-filled stage. The evening with you two was utterly enjoyable--the two of you together make the most pleasant company! I pray as wedding/life planning unfolds, you will hold this season close to your hearts. You have something special--something that cannot be manufactured. The road ahead is bright and beautiful, and I wish you both the very best.

As the sun set, we headed towards the river for some swoon-worthy photos.

Couple Session | Haley & James

I was absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to capture Haley and James.

Come to find out, James actually went to high-school with my husband, Justin. I personally came to know Haley and James through my dear friend, Joy, who is James' sister.

The more I get to know Haley, the more I am discovering we are kindred spirits. Nature, art, and Brooke Fraser are among our common interests. ;)

A couple of months ago, I was helping my friend Joy move to Alabama, and stumbled upon a painting I just LOVED. Upon asking her about it, she informed me that her sister-in-law (Haley) painted. I then contacted Haley and preposed an "art-exchange", and she agreed! To see Haley's lovely work, visit her shop on etsy, Willowgrass Designs. (She also has a Facebook Page).

Thank you SO MUCH, Haley and James. I had a wonderful time hanging out with you two (we must have a double-date soon!). I absolutely LOVE these pictures.

Enjoy.
