Baby Session | Hudson

My, oh, my. Little Hudson is such a peach. He had the cutest little chuckle, that he would sporadically bless us with. He has to be one of the most calm babies I have ever worked with! We used THREE hats on the little guy, and he didn't whine once.

My favorite part of the session, though, had to be his mom commenting on his little expressions. "I may be partial, but he is just the cutest thing ever!" I soak up the love of a parent, there's really nothing you could ever witness like it. I sit behind the camera with a huge smile in my heart (and usually on my face), knowing that these will be moments they will treasure forever. When her little boy becomes a man, she can look back on these pictures and relish the moments they shared at the beginning of his life journey.

Before I start crying, let me move on. Brandi--you are an incredible mom. Hudson could not have been placed in the hands of better parents (and the Lord knew that when He created him.)

Children's Session | Dior

Yes, Dior. Could there be a cuter name?

Dior was, to say the least, a little ball of energy. He ran around everywhere, peeking over his shoulder to see whether or not I was still chasing him with the camera. And, of course, I was.

My favorite little attribute on Dior? His eyes. They were so bright and shiny and full of life. I seriously did absolutely no re-touching on his eyes for this session--just naturally full of crystal-clear childlike joy!

His mother is hoping to get him into some modeling agencies, and I must say, with that little face, he would be a great poster child for any children's clothing luck!

Children's Session | Jackson Gibbs

This little man was so cute. I posted a preview of little Jackson last week when I first started editing his session.

Jackson was full of energy, and in such a good mood for the shoot. He offered several cheesy smiles to the camera, but his candid faces of pure excitement have to be my favorite!

Preview | Jackson Gibbs | Children's Session

Today I sat at my computer, in the middle of Starbucks, literally sighing and giggling and smiling way too big at Jackson's pictures. 

I cannot adequately express how much I love children's sessions. More genuine emotions could not exist than the laughter of a two year old, or the big grin of a child's smile at their mom or dad. Really, little giggles and grins are one of the best gifts you could give me. (For my friends out there--don't get any ideas! Photographing kids will suffice until Justin and I are married a while longer!)

Anyway, I am still finishing the editing on Jackson's session, but I was SO in love with these pictures, I just had to give a preview!
