Newborn Session | Baby Elly

So, upon the realization that my baby portfolio was lacking, I decided to scout out some modeling prospects (before they even entered this world). Baby Elly was Model Prospect #1, and let me tell you, she was SUCH a blessing!

Elly was the FIRST, yes, FIRST newborn session of which my tiny model fell asleep. Oh the joy and ease! I was so elated about this that I just wanted to put the little bundle of joy in every  comfy place I could find. This, however, did not prevent me from changing her "wardrobe" a million times. Seriously, moms, I don't see how you don't just play dress up all day. I had a blast. I brought my Anthropologie headband (featured in the first two pictures), scarfs, flowers, and a beautiful flapper-inspired hairpiece for the last shot! {On a side note, don't you just love being a girl?}

Thank you SO much, Casey & Dani, for letting me capture your sweet little girl. I pray that as she grows older and older, these pictures serve as treasured memories for a lifetime. Blessings on parenthood, I am certain that God will guide your steps and hold your hearts along the way.

Enjoy. {♥}

Engagement Session | Sara & Adam

So, let me just say that Sara and Adam deserve the Most Patient Client of the Year Award. Prior to the day of Sara's first scheduled session (that of which I believe we were mutually as excited about), it POURED rain, leaving the day of the session muggy and muddy. Prior to the day of Sara's second scheduled session, I developed a cold from "you-know-where". Seriously, I laid in bed all day, and just roughed it for their session (because it was PERFECT outside). They totally dealt with my sneezing and stuffy nose and make-up-free-ness.

Truth be told--when you are your own boss, working for clients that you are directly connected to--sick days just don't seem like an option. (Unless, of course, you are contagious, at which point, you should stay in bed and spare your dear clients).

Rain and sneezes aside, we moved forward to capture a BEAUTIFUL session. Sara and Adam were SO easy to work with, and the sun was definitely in my favor this evening.

Congratulations again, you two. I am so very honored to be a part of this season in your life!

Enjoy, friends. {♥}

Wedding | Amber & Daniel

Amber and Daniel were married on a beautiful Spring day at The Georgian in Athens, GA.

I have known Amber and Daniel since my 9th grade year of High School. (They were dating then). I participated in theatre with Amber, and was in Daniel's Spanish class. They have always been exceptional people, and certainly, put together make an incredible couple. It was neat getting to see (and capture!) the beautiful Godly couple that they have become. I won't lie, I teared up behind my camera at the thought of God's provision along the way--leading not to this end, but to this beautiful beginning of their life together.

Here are some of my favorite images from the day, there of course are many, many more of proud family members, festivities, and the lovely in-betweens. Hope you enjoy this sneak peak into their special day!

Enjoy, friends. {♥}

Sneak Peak | Baby Elly

There are sessions that I would deem simply irresistible--those of which are IMPOSSIBLE to avoid posting a little peak into what is ahead.

This, obviously, is one of them. ♥

I'll have many more coming soon.

Enjoy, friends.

Prom 2011 | Alyssa, Garrett, Nikki & Bobby

These guys were SO much fun to photograph. The weather was all lovely and sun-shiney, and their Prom attire was just perfect. I love how their colors correlated, (my being so picky about such details!), and they had such natural laughs. I'm sure they had a blast commemorating Prom of 2011.

Thanks so much to Alyssa, Garret, Nikki, & Bobby! Blessings on your futures!

Enjoy. {♥}
