NEW THINGS

After an incredibly inspirational morning, I decided to make some adjustments to my blog.

First, there's a new page! Sitting right next to the "home" tab is a sweet treat called "Be Inspired." If you have time to waste, or are itching for some inspiration, I've listed some of my absolute favorite sites here.

In addition, I've made some slight design changes to my blog. A while back, I had to change the face of my design completely, and fell in love with this crisp, clean font. Before this design surge, I had a pretty hand-written, cursive font. Truth be told, I'm more of a artsy-crafty, hand-written kind-of-girl, but I love a good sophisticated font, too. I came across a new font this morning that merged the two together perfectly. Excited that I found the right fit, I revamped everything applicable!

I'd love to add some flowery goodness to my design at some point--but for now, it's short and sweet and to-the-point.

I'll have some new posts coming soon! In the meantime, check out one of my new favorite songs:

Commercial Work | THE WELL REDS in Concert at Bare Bulb Coffee Shop

What an excellent night of performers. Really.

To be honest, I don't have much to say about these pics except that you need to check out every band represented. This is my first all black and white post, just because the lighting was so perfectly dramatic that B&W did the photos such great justice.

Creative Session | Bianca Raffols

Something in the Water
Brooke Fraser

I wear a demeanor made of bright pretty things
What she wears, what she wears, what she wears
Birds singing on my shoulder in harmony it seems
How they sing, how they sing, how they sing

I’ve got halo’s made of summer, rhythms made of spring
What she wears, what she wears, what she wears
I got crowns of words a woven each one a song to sing
Oh I sing, oh I sing, oh I sing

Bianca and I first clicked---like, immediately clicked--when I mentioned Brooke Fraser in conversation and she flipped out with an "Oh my gosh! You like her too!?" To which I replied, "Bianca, I am her NUMBER ONE fan." Which is true. Check Brooke out. To say she is my role model would certainly be an understatement. ♥

Bianca has one of the coolest Tumblr blogs I have ever seen. She has impeccable taste in music, and such an eclectic eye for culture and art. I look forward to getting to know her more in the future. :)

This session also features some "Besties" shots with Taylor Parker from one of my earlier sessions.

Enjoy, friends. ♥
